Het echte Spanje naar Amsterdam brengen. Dat was de droom van de uit Albacete afkomstige Pedro Garcia Garrido. In 1997 opende hij zijn eerste restaurant in Amsterdam en in 2012 zijn derde, inclusief eetcafé & nachtclub, Puerto Pata Negra.
Tapas voor Lunch, borrel of diner: Pata Negra serveert Spaanse gerechten voor verschillende momenten van de dag. Begin de dag met een café cortado en de krant, geniet van exquise tapas zoals Pata Negra ham en Manchego kaas bij de lunch en de borrel en sluit de dag af met een rijk gevulde paella.

Spaanse keuken nu ook aan het IJ! Behalve het restaurant dat geopend is voor ontbijt, lunch en diner (tapas), beschikken wij ook over een `galactic` bovenbar met uitzicht op het water.

Bring the real Spain to The Netherlands. That was the dream of a Spaniard from Albacete named Pedro Garcia. He has been quite successfull in making his dream come true with three authentic Spanish Tapas restaurants in Amsterdam, all named after the excellent Spanish ham Pata Negra. Being the youngest, Puerto Pata Negra opened its doors on March 2012 and since then gives this legacy the exceptional touch of a harbour-like style. Puerto, as commonly called, imports fresh and pure ingredients directly from Spain and creates original Spanish recipies for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Start the day with a nice `cortado` and a typical pincho while organizing your cyber meeting or just sit and relax. Choose from famous Spanish specialties such as Jamón Ibérico de Bellota, Raf tomatoes, Manchego cheese and Pimientos de Padrón among others and combine perfectly with Marqués de Riscal, Ribera del Duero or Iniesta family wines.
The variety of options that Puerto offers during day and night will surely fit your expectations! Puerto is located at the Amsterdam Oosterdok, a dock in the old Amsterdam harbour, where it is also possible to arrive by boat and take a culinairy break while enjoying the rustic sealike terrace and perhaps a fresh cocktail.
As you enter the restaurant a Spanish native speaking staff will without a doubt welcome you into a warm, picturesque environment. Its main wall is decorated with ornamental azulejos (painted ceramic tiles), traditionally made in Talavera de la Reina (Castilla de la Mancha), famous for its pottery and ceramics. These tiles display a two century old mediterranean way of catching tuna with a maze shaped net called Almadraba. Puerto Pata Negra`s ambience is spiced with original fishery artifacts such as anchors and buoys, as well as with a vast programe that includes live music and dance perfomances.
This taking you to the final quest of conquering the evening at La Caverna: Puerto`s unique lounge-bar where the night is always young and the party never stops.
