‘Dox Records, Not Just Records’
Dox Records is a musicians platform building long term artist careers within different collaborations. We take care of their songs, their recordings and their concerts. Dox also develops and executes music projects, music education, and music consultancy.
Founded in 1997 by musicians, it intended to provide an alternative resource in music industry. “Dox” comes from the ancient Greek, Doxa, which means ‘idea’ or ‘opinion’.
The Dox artists rule. They’re versatile in their musical talent, involved in a myriad of projects. They’re committed and visionary and therefore they may also be an A&R manager, producer, or the instigator of the next project. Dox productions are not pigeon-holed based on traditional musical conventions; the Dox product is the outcome of its own unique process and it deserves its own distinctive form, style and promotion. Dox productions are always hip, fresh, and experimental, whilst maintaining an awareness of the jazz tradition.
If the emotion is universal, its musical expression is too.
