Come and learn for the top. At DA Dance Studio we have top teachers in many dances, who have only one goal; to make you smile and fall in love with their dance.
We work from a comprehensive concept for dance lessons. We give our students more selfknowledge, more fitness, more social cohesion and more social skills.
What sets us apart as a dance school: we teach both solo and partner dancing lessons. In our methodology we stimulate the connection between partner and solo dancing. The development of the student is central in all the lessons.

Wat is Zouk?
Braziliaanse Zouk of kortweg Zouk komt oorspronkelijk uit het Frans Carribisch gebied (Guadeloupe, Martinique, Haiti). In Brazilie werd het populair na de lambada hype begin jaren `90. Men begon een versie van de lambada te dansen op de zachtere en langzamere zouk muziek. In Rio de Janeiro, waar Samba de Gafieira erg populair is werd ook veel van deze dans meegenomen in de nieuwe Zouk dans. Braziliaanse Zouk kenmerkt zich vooral door de zwiepende haren en en vloeiende lichaams bewegingen. Het intieme contact tijdens de dans drukt het Zuidamerikaanse gevoel het best uit. Zouk kwam naar Nederland in 1997, maar werd pas echt populair rond 2005. Tegenwoordig is Zouk ook erg populair in landen als Spanje, Argentinie, Australie en sprijd het zich razendsnel uit over Europa, Azie en Noord-Amerika.
