Als zoon van Antiliaanse ouders (Curacao) werd SIGI al heel vroeg omringd door Latijns Amerikaanse klanken. Op schoolfeesten en verjaardagen begon hij met het ontwikkelen van zijn passie voor dj-en. Sindsdien heeft Sigi op verschillende populaire locaties gespeeld zoals Hotel Arena, Panama, Escape en Vakzuid te Amsterdam. Eveneens stond hij op enkele toonaangevende festivals zowel nationaal waaronder Antilliaanse Feesten Hoogstraten, Latin Village Amsterdam en internationaal zoals Denemarken, Belgie, Duitsland, Finland en Spanje.
