Yan Collazo
Yan Collazo werd geboren in Caguas, Peurto Rico en is een professional zanger sinds de leeftijd van 19 jaar oud. In de jaren hieraan vooraf was hij een Honkbal speler bij de grote leagues tot hij besloot te volgen in zijn vaders voetstappen en zanger te worden. In zijn eigen woorden
In zijn carrière heeft Collazo gezongen met sommige van de beste Merengue artiesten van Puerto Rico als: Jossie Esteban, Patrol 15, The Karris Group en Manny Martinez in zijn vroegere dagen waar hij werkte aan vele verschillende projecten met Gerardo "Papo" Rios de sound engineer van artiesten als "Marc Anthony" die zijn talent ontdekte.
Na een zakenreis van de eigenaar en directeur van 1 van Colombia`s leidende Salsa Bands "Alexis Lozano" naar Puerto Rico ontdekte hij Yan`s talent en nam hem mee naar Colombia waar hij de tophits opnam met het orkest Guayacan als Carro de Fuego, Extrana tu Amor en Mujer de Carne y Hueso om nog maar niet eens te noemen de vele nummers van zijn album Bueno y Mas die genomineerd werd voor het beste Salsa Album in de 2010 Latin Grammy Awards en nog meer andere awards.
Na Feria de Cali in 2010 voegde Yan Collazo zich bij de band Grupo Niche waarmee hij het merendeel van 2011 heel Amerika en Zuid-Amerika doortoerde om daarna zijn eigen nummer Callate op te nemen dat 1 van de meest gedraaide platen dat jaar van Colombia werd. Zijn nieuwe carrière als een solo artiest leidde hem naar Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Panama, Mexico, USA, Australia, Spain en Aruba en de lijst wordt groter en groter! Zijn eerste solo album in 2012 won de prestigieuze Revelation Salsa 2012 Paoli Award en zijn carriere en fans blijven maar groeien en stijgen!!

Yan Collazo was born in Caguas , Puerto Rico and has been singing professionally since he was only 19 years old, in his Adolescent years he was a Baseball player and was signed to the big leagues when he decided to follow in his Fathers footsteps and start to sing "I use to watch him sing Typical Music from Puerto Rico and I used to love watching people Applauding my Father and One day I wanted to feel the Same and The Music won a Singer and Baseball lost a Baseball Player".
Collazo has sang with some of the best Merengue artists from Puerto Rico such as: Jossie Esteban , Patrol 15 , The Karris Group and Manny Martinez in his early Career where he worked on many different projects with Gerardo "Papo" Rios who is The Sound Engineer for Artists such as "Marc Anthony" who discovered Yan`s Talent.
After a Business Trip by the Owner and Director of One of Colombia`s leading Salsa Bands "Alexis Lozano" to Puerto Rico he discovered Yan`s Talent and he was recruited and taken to Colombia where he recorded smash hits with Orquesta Guayacan such as "Carro de Fuego" "Extrano tu Amor" and "Mujer de Carne y Hueso" not to mention various others on the Album of "Bueno y Mas" which was nominated for best Salsa Album in the 2010 "Latin Grammy Awards" along with many others awards and accolades.
After the "Feria de Cali" in 2010 Yan Collazo joined Grupo Niche where he spent most of 2011 touring all over
The United States and South America with Grupo Niche and then decided to record his own production "Callate" which has been one of the most played songs in Colombia that year.
His Career as a Solo Artist has taken him to South America (Peru , Ecuador , Colombia) Central America (Panama , Mexico) United States (Miami , New York , Houston) Europe (Spain) and The Caribbean (Aruba) and the list keeps growing en growing. His first solo album in 2012 won the prestigues Revelation Salsa 2012 Paoli Award and his fanbase and career seem to be ready for new steps as his admirers keep rising constantly!!
