Pedro Ricardo Henry (from Cuba) will introduce you to Afro Cuban dance technique and Orishas, starting from the basic techniques, torzo work, continuous muelleo, independence of the body part, musicality.

Two different bootcamps:

• 11:15 – 12:45 h:
• 13:00 – 14:30 h:

Pedro Ricardo Henry
is a professional dancer, teacher and choreographer from Cuba. From a young age, his mother was his inspiration to start dancing. He studied at the Escuela Nacional de Arte (ENA) in Havana, specializing in modern dance and folklore.

After graduating, he had the opportunity to begin his professional career with the renowned company “Danza Contemporánea de Cuba.” Later he joined the esteemed “Ballet de la TV Cubana”. In 2013 he got the chance to travel to Europe. Here, he continued his professional career, working for the Opera du Rhin (FR), the theaters in Aachen and Freiburg (D).

In 2017 he moved to the Netherlands and worked with various prestigious Dutch companies such as the Sally Dance Company Maastricht and Via Berlin.
At the moment he is one of the dancers of the dance company Conny Janssen Danst in Rotterdam.

Prices:
– one bootcamp: 40 euro (on-line at: weticket) or 50 euro at door
– two bootcamps: 75 euro (on-line at: weticket) or 90 euro at door.
